Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Questio, a company in the United Kingdom ("Questio", "we", "us"), for the use of TicketDM. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use TicketDM for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
The service
TicketDM is a live-chat service. A website chat widget sends visitors' messages to a Telegram group you connect, and relays your team's replies back to the visitor. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Beta
TicketDM is in beta. It is free to use during the beta. We will announce paid plans before the beta ends, with plenty of notice, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan. During the beta there are no service-level promises, and the service may have bugs, change or be interrupted.
Your account
- Sign in with a valid email address you control. Keep access to it secure.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by people you add to your Telegram group.
- Anyone in your connected Telegram group can read and answer your visitors' conversations. Only add people you trust.
Acceptable use
Do not use TicketDM to:
- break the law, or infringe other people's rights;
- send spam, bulk or automated unsolicited messages, or phishing or scam content;
- distribute malware, or share content that is abusive, hateful or sexually exploitative;
- probe, attack or overload the service, or work around its limits;
- break Telegram's terms of service.
We may suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe these rules are broken, and we will try to tell you why.
Your data and visitors
- You own the content you and your visitors send through TicketDM. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it to run the service.
- For visitors' personal data, you are the controller and we act as your processor, as described in our privacy policy.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to use the chat with your visitors, and for telling them about it in your own privacy notice.
- You can delete conversations or your account at any time, or ask us to.
Third-party services
TicketDM depends on Telegram. We do not control Telegram, and we are not responsible for its availability, changes or rules. If Telegram stops or limits messages, TicketDM may be affected. Your use of Telegram is covered by Telegram's own terms.
Our rights
We own TicketDM, including the software, design and branding. You may use it under these terms. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We take reasonable care, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during the beta.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the free beta is zero.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using TicketDM and close your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access for breaking these terms, for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can. When an account ends, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you by email. If you keep using TicketDM after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
